Happy Uncommon Blog Day Yes, I said that intentionally!!
If you have been an active reader of my blogs, you know I schedule my blogs for a Monday morning. As I'm sitting here minding my business, Holy Spirit started to speak to me concerning His next move for us. As He ministered I said, "Holy Spirit do I release this as a status on Facebook?"
He said, "NO WRITE A BLOG." I was a bit confused because Friday was not my usual blog day and certainly not this time of the day. That's when He went on to say......... "Daughter I'm doing an uncommon and an unusual thing. I am shifting schedules. It is no longer business as usual. Will you be obedient and release an uncommon instruction on an uncommon blog day?".....glorrrry
God says... Tell my people I will not be coming in the way that they think, I am showing up in an uncommon way.
Noah was given an unusual instruction to build an ark on dry land and He was obedient even though he was mocked. Did I not send the rain? Genesis 6- Genesis 9
Joshua was told to walk around the wall of Jericho for 7 days and on the 7th day for 7 times. Did the wall not fall? Joshua 6
Abraham was tested with an unusual instruction to sacrifice his son Isaac. Did I not honor his obedience and faith and send a ram in the thicket? Genesis 22
Jehoshaphat and Gideon followed uncommon instructions and showed up to battle with praise leading the way. Did I not cause the enemy to turn on themselves and win the battle on my people's behalf? 2 Chronicles 20; Judges 7-8
He went on to remind me about Isaiah 43:19 "Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
As I focus on the scripture, I understood even the more what Holy Spirit was saying. It is uncommon to see a road in the wilderness or even rivers in the arid desert but because of His might and sovereignty, He is going to do the impossible in whatever situation you currently have before Him in prayer. Don't expect your prayers to be answered the way you want them to be answered. Don't expect your prayers to be answered the time you want them to be answered. He is responding in an uncommon way that will yield uncommon results in your favor. Every promise to you will be fulfilled.
Like I was obedient to shift my schedule and write this blog today, God is about to show up for me in an uncommon way.
Be prepared for an uncommon instruction Stay faithful
Don't become weary because God is about to move for you
Look for Him in an unfathomable, obscure, uncommon way.
God bless you, Happy Uncommon Friday!!
